Averbode Abbey | Outdoor Kiosks

Averbode Abbey was founded in 1134. For centuries it has connected spiritual life with the broader society. At the beginning of 2016, they decided to fill the centuries-old economic activities in a new and contemporary way by launching various sustainable products such as bread, gingerbread, cheese, and beer. They were also looking to show the history of Averbode Abbey and sustainable products to visitors in a fun and interactive way, and that's when they quickly came across Prestop and Omnivision.

More interactivity around Averbode Abbey through outdoor totems

Prestop placed three outdoor totems with a 49″ touch screen at the beginning of July at the Averbode Abbey. This allows visitors around the Abbey to easily see, on an interactive map, what places and activities are around it. They can understand how their sustainable products are made through various images and multitouch games. These games have been developed so that young and old can play games on the outdoor totems.

We also installed for Abdij Averbode, in addition to the three outdoor totems, three screens consisting of a 42″ touchscreen, a 48″ touchscreen, and a 48″ screen on which various images and videos are played.
