Weijsters & Kooij designers has almost 25 years of experience in the field of graphic and spatial design. Clients include: government, profit, non-profit, education and cultural institutions. They were also commissioned to redesign the Zuiderwaterlinie visitor center.
The road to Prestop
Karin Kooij: "In connection with a redesign of a museum, we wanted a touchscreen table. Via the Internet we ended up at Prestop. The possibility to make an interactive presentation ourselves with their software appealed to us. Location in Eindhoven was an advantage (as the furniture maker for this project is also located in the Eindhoven area)."
Question
"Originally we came to Prestop for a broad orientation for a touchscreen table for the museum. Then for another project, namely the 1st visitor center for the Zuiderwaterlinie. With a really super-hard deadline - the opening on September 16, 2018 - we decided to go for touchscreens with Omnitapps as well," said Karin.
Prestop's solution
Prestop gave a demonstration of Omnitapps, which can be used to create interactive presentations relatively simply. Karin: "That appealed to us. We followed a training course so that we could get started ourselves. During the development of the presentations, the support department at Prestop acted as a resource for questions." Prestop also provided a 55" touchscreen, three 15" touchscreens and a 21.5" touchscreen on which to run the interactive presentations."

In practice
Karin: "Many enthusiastic responses from visitors, a lot of information on a relatively limited area without becoming overwhelming. Omnitapps gives freedom to quickly add and change information in terms of content in our own management. As a designer, the challenge is to add as much individuality and corporate identity as possible within the possibilities of the toolbox."
