Winora is a German brand that develops e-bikes entirely in-house. These e-bikes are sold through an international dealer network. The emphasis is on the excellent quality of the bikes and optimal ease of use.
Winora has chosen Prestop to produce and deliver the Winora kiosk for the German market. By now more than 1000 Winora kiosks have been sold, giving customers in shops advice on buying a bicycle and whether or not together with an expert in the shop, assessing the models. The favorites are stored and ordered directly through the dealer. They can also be sent via a QR code to the consumer's email address for a later decision.
The road to Prestop
Under the name "Younith" Winora launched a point of sale system for the bicycle trade. A digital solution was required to provide information to both specialist retailers and consumers in a clear, simple manner. Winora found the right partner in Prestop to answer this question.
Point at issue
The Winora Group asked for an interactive kiosk that could be used mainly by the specialist retailer and the sales staff to support a sales conversation. The new system to be developed would replace the old systems. Prestop was asked not only to design the kiosk interactively but also to pay attention to the appearance of both the hardware and the user interface. The threshold for using the kiosk had to be as low as possible. The kiosks now play a central role on the shop floor in the trade.
Prestop sat around the table with Winora and worked out every desired detail in a test environment. The results of all tests together resulted in the final design, which exactly met the wishes and requirements of Winora. The design of the housing is very appealing and fits within the modern concepts of shop design.
Winora is pleased with the enormous, interactive functionality offered by the touchscreens. The individualized software that runs in the kiosk allows Winora to safely present the various applications to the user.
Day to day operations.
The supplied systems run stably and are used with pleasure by specialist dealers. Winora is more than satisfied with the service with which Prestop surrounds the delivery.
