Customers visiting an ANWB store can use the order kiosk to search, order, and pay directly for a product. They can even arrange for free delivery to their home address. So if a product isn't in stock in the store it can still be ordered via the order kiosk. This reinforces the ANWB's omnichannel strategy, and helps sales staff reduce declined sales.
ANWB joined forces with Prestop to develop and implement the order kiosk. For the ANWB it was key that everything could be done by one supplier: hardware, link-up to the payment terminal, installation and management.
Prestop developed, produced and installed these iconic order kiosks in 85 ANWB stores.
Significant increase in turnover after installation ANWB order kiosks
The ANWB has seen a significant increase in turnover in the first quarter of 2018 since the introduction of the order kiosks. This trend is continuing. An important point is that the ANWB shrank from 87 stores in 2017 to 83 in 2018, yet the increase in turnover was still realised even with 5 fewer stores.
