Counter order kiosks help busy The Gyros Bar in Utrecht
Wednesday 24 May 2023At The Gyros Bar, you experience more than just ordering a pita gyros. It is a unique culinary experience full of taste sensations. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a stylish, trendy, and rugged interior where craftsmanship is the focus. This perfect combination makes us strikingly different from others. This beautiful bar is about the total experience and careful attention to the food.
Prestop has installed two order kiosks and a takeout screen in the always-busy establishment.
Order kiosks on the glass counter
At The Gyros Bar, they are always short of space, but that does nothing to diminish the food and service they provide. To speed up the ordering process and to keep everyone focused on preparing the food, they now have two 22" Desk Evolution LED order kiosks. These desk models had to be modified so we could install them on the existing glass counter, where they now stand securely. They have a thermal receipt printer and scanner for coupon codes. Ordering software from our partner Jamezz runs on the kiosks.
Challenging installation
Besides the glass counter, other challenges we overcame were that we only had three hours to install the kiosks and takeout screen before the store was scheduled to open. The shutters closing right in front of the counter meant that the kiosks could not protrude forward.
Call screen / pickup screen with SiteKiosk Online
In addition to the kiosks, we also had the opportunity to install a takeout screen. This continuously displays the status of everyone's order and allows customers to see when their food is ready. This 55" screen runs on our SiteKiosk Online software. Changes to the layout can easily be made by The Gyros Bar itself.
