12 Mood kiosks at Uplift Amsterdam by ASICS Sneakers

To mark World Mental Health Day, ASICS brought its efforts to promote wellness awareness to the NXT Museum in Amsterdam for a pop-up installation that lasted just one day. The brand's Uplift Experience was designed to give visitors, tastemakers, and local media a taste of the audiovisual activation. Fitting with the motto "Sound Mind, Sound Body," the educational center showed how movement can promote mental health through performances by contemporary dancers against floating digital graphics.

After watching the show, the audience was invited to follow suit. They participated in full-body exercises and stretches guided by a voice-over. According to a scientifically proven ASICS fact, it only takes 15.09 minutes for movement to revive you - something the enlightened participants were able to experience.

Discovering your mood on kiosks

Especially for this day, Asics had rented twelve Prestop kiosks, some of which had disinfection dispensers. Six of these 27" kiosks were used as check-in kiosks. Visitors could answer several questions at check-in that ultimately determined their mood, including a color displayed behind the kiosk on a screen.

After the event, they could check out on the six other kiosks and check again after several questions to see if their mood had changed after moving—a fantastic application of interactive screens at a fun event for ASICS Sportstyle.
