At Wilger supermarket in Germany, customers can now collect their online orders even faster and more easily thanks to a new collection terminal supplied by Prestop.
Customers order through the Wilger online shop or the Edeka pickup and delivery app, choose a time slot, and pay online. Upon arrival at the Wilger Drive-in, they simply scan the QR code on their order confirmation or in the Pick up and Deliver app on the terminal provided by Prestop.
Immediately after scanning, the customer's name and order number appear on the screen, while in-store employees receive a blue light and a push notification to alert them that the order is ready to be prepared. Within minutes, an employee places the order in the customer's trunk.
With this Prestop solution, the collection process is faster, more user-friendly, and completely contactless — a win-win for both customer and supermarket.
