Sensors and touch foil
For making shop windows, museum displays, etc. interactive, we apply various (contactless) touch techniques. In the non-contact sensor solutions all the technology, the screen, and the sensors are behind glass. A sticker is placed on the outside of the glass. By holding your hand in front of a certain place, a trigger is given to the player that causes other content to be displayed. Advantage of these sensors is that they are suitable for double glazing, disadvantage however is the limited user interface. An example of an application with sensors is the Digital Poster.
Through the application of touch foil stuck to the inside of the (store) window, the entire "screen" can be controlled. Prestop has built up a display window in its showroom in which an application with touch foil in combination with an Omnitapps application can be viewed.
Touch foil
We laminate our Pcap touch films on single glazed windows behind which a high brightness monitor is mounted depending on the light conditions. For sound applications, we use window speakers that are glued to the inside of the window. Of course, you can view all these solutions in our interactive experience centre. QR scan and touch
With this solution, developed by our partner Omnivision, the entry of the address details and the payment are carried out on a cell phone. After scanning the QR code, a website is opened in which the user can enter his/her details and the payment can be completed. The screen itself sits 10 cm behind the glass that is provided with touch foil. In this case, by placing a watch between the screen and the glass, the user has a view of the product itself.
