Prestop touch products and Omnitapps hugely popular with museums

Prestop touch tables and touchscreens with Omnitapps are very well suitable for museums that want to enthuse visitors in an interactive way and inform them in a fun way. Nice hardware combined with beautiful presentations make for a truly interactive and fun experience for museum visitors.

Below is a small collection of museums that use Omnitapps in combination with Prestop hardware products!

Museum Helmond

Museum Helmond is a city history museum with collections for modern and contemporary art. The museum has two locations, namely the Helmond Castle and the adjacent Kunsthal.

For the exhibition about Lucas Gassel (Master of the Landscape) that will be held from 10 March to 7 June 2020, the museum is renting three 55" touch tables from Prestop. Prestop Creations has set up the Omnitapps Composer software for more information about the painter and his works. Challenging games can also be played, for young and old!

Municipal Museum Kampen

For the urban museum Kampen a touchscreen solution has been created where children and adults can experience more information. Together with the Water Authority Drents Overijsselse Delta there is an information section with water as an important theme.

A combination of the applications of Omnitapps Composer software has been used to watch videos, but the children can also play a memo game.

Vrijheidsmuseum

The Vrijheidsmuseum (Freedom Museum) in the town of Groesbeek in Gelderland shows the history of the Second World War in Germany and the Netherlands with a focus on the liberation of the Dutch-German border region in 1944-1945.

To give visitors more information there is a large touchscreen setup provided by Prestop. The Omnitapps4 Composer software runs on this screen with information that can be viewed interactively on the map with markers.

Valkerij en Sigarenmakerij Museum

The Valkerij en Sigarenmakerij museum (Falconry and Cigar Making Museum) in Valkenswaard consists of two collections. The Falconry Museum shows the falconry in the period 1650 to 1850. At the Cigar Making Museum the cigar making in Valkenswaard is shown from 1865 until the decline.

For the Falconry Museum Prestop supplied a touch table on which Omnitapps rotates. Omnitapps provide information about falconry via various apps and young and old can test their knowledge via the quiz game. For the Cigar Museum, Prestop supplied a touch table and a touch screen with Omnitapps in which the history of the Valkenswaard cigar factories can be seen.

Vincentre

In Vincentre, in the Van Gogh Village Nuenen, visitors can discover how Vincent van Gogh lived and painted. All this, of course, using the latest presentation techniques such as the "Discover Vincent Table". Visitors can learn all about Vincent van Gogh on the interactive touch table with an Omnitapps multitouch presentation.
