Inspiration screens for VVV Goeree-Overflakkee
Since 1990, the VVV has been located in 't Blaeuwe Huus in Ouddorp. There, until recently, guests found a counter with helpful staff, a shop and a small exhibition area. But since today there is a VVV Inspiration Point, where guests can explore in a contemporary and interactive way what there is to see and do on Goeree-Overflakkee.
More experience with inspiration screens
Experience is central to this at the VVV inspiration points, which is why two 32" pcap touch screens have been installed as inspiration screens. A touchscreen displays a map with the highlights of Goeree-Overflakkee, allowing visitors to get their bearings and find inspiration to explore the island. A touchscreen is built into a wall and comprehensive information about restaurants, accommodation, routes, events, attractions and museums can easily be found.
Personal contact with video chat
Video chat allows personal contact with someone from VVV at 't Blaeuwe Huus in Ouddorp. Video chat is displayed on a 32" pcap touchscreen with camera and speakers. When the button is pressed, a video connection starts. The video chat allows the user and the inspiration worker to see each other and have a conversation. In this way, a personalised form of service can also be offered remotely. And residents and visitors are helped with questions.
Better information provision

Video chat in different locations
The first two walls with touchscreen and video chat have been installed at A Seal seal sanctuary in Stellendam and the Menheerse Werf in Middelharnis. These walls feature an overview of some tourist highlights on Goeree-Overflakkee.
