Atos and Prestop have teamed up again to deliver a fully automated store at Brussels airport this time. At Lagardère Travel Retail, they were looking for technological innovation for the best customer experience. Customers can easily shop and check out independently.

Automated store at Brussels Airport

Visitors can scan their boarding pass to enter the store and then click on the Prestop Slim Kiosk 10.1"Scanner to scan a QR code that gives them their digital shopping cart on their smartphone. As travelers walk through the store, intelligent cameras can see whether they are taking something or putting it back on the shelf. Following that, the customer can go to one of two self-checkout kiosks, and a summary of the products in the shopping cart will appear. For convenience, the two 24" Eminent kiosks both have a plateau on which products and handbags can be placed. In the final step, the customer can pay.
