Express check-in kiosk key locker

The current and future developments in the Automotive industry make it necessary to organise Aftersales processes more efficiently and to offer customers the best and most innovative service. The focus is on complete transparency and digitalisation towards the customers, where the value of personal customer contact is paramount.

The latest innovation within this process is the Express check-in column for Emil Frey.

With this unique additional service, customers can quickly and easily check in their car digitally during their visit to the workshop.

Faster key issuance reduces waiting times at the service counter in a busy morning/afternoon.

After verifying the customer with their license plate or email address, they can use a secret code to leave the key in a locker. The mechanic receives a message that the key has been received and can use a QR code to retrieve the key from the lockbox and start working.

The kiosk itself is designed and manufactured by Prestop with a 27" touch screen and a 27" signage display. The RAP Player software controls the top signage display, and the locker software comes from Claire Automotive.
