Belgian Transport Workers' Union BTB hires touch table with Omnitapps to recruit members
BTB (Union of Transport Workers of Belgium) is a trade union federation that is part of the ABVV (General Belgian Trade Union Confederation). The ABVV is a Belgian socialist trade union that defends the rights of workers. BTB-ABVV focuses specifically on the interests of workers in the transport and logistics sector, such as truck drivers, port workers, and public transport workers.
BTB-ABVV offers support on working conditions, labor disputes, safety at work, and social protection. It also negotiates collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and represents its members in disputes.
To recruit members at the transport event in Hasselt called De Warmste Truckrun, the BTB rented a 65-inch touch table from Prestop. This, together with an Omnitapps rental license, added to the booth.
Trade union membership recruitment at the fair
On September 7 and 8, the BTB had a great presentation running on the big touch table. On it, visitors to the booth could discover all about the BTB and sign themselves up through the form. The sections they could discover digitally via Omnitapps were Who is BTB, Member Benefits, Becoming a Member, Social Dumping, Safe Parking and Other Campaigns.
So a nice mix of information, experience and call-to-actions. In addition to signing up, visitors can also request the brochures and magazines to receive via email. This is all possible in Omnitapps.
